Before travelling

Gather the confirmation, documents required by the offer, a card accepted for the deposit and the supplier’s contact. Licence and identity requirements depend on the country, your documents and the office: verify them, including any translation or international permit requirement. Download collection instructions and locate the actual meeting point, which may differ from the terminal.

At the desk and around the car

Check the main driver, additional drivers, category, transmission and extras. Compare the document you are signing with the booking and ask about additions. Have existing damage noted, photograph the sides of the car and check fuel. Inspect reserved child equipment and ask how to operate controls you are unfamiliar with.

During the rental

Keep the assistance number and incident instructions. Do not add a driver or country without checking the agreement. Keep useful receipts and report problems promptly under the required procedure. For a serious incident, contact the appropriate services; CARQIVO is neither an emergency service nor the party that authorises repairs.

At return

Follow the return location, time and fuel rule in the agreement. Allow time for inspection and any shuttle. For an out-of-hours return, obtain the precise procedure and retain required evidence. Get a return confirmation where possible, then track the final invoice and deposit release separately. Handing over the keys alone is not a guarantee of an immediate refund.
